Why Do Foundation Repair Companies Get Suspended?
Short answer: Foundation repair companies tend to cover large regions from one or two bases, and that's where suspensions usually start. Branch profiles for offices that aren't really staffed, service areas stretched across half a state, and business names with words like "Free Inspection" or "Structural Engineers" added are the most common causes. Moving the main office or warehouse without updating everything else is another frequent trigger.
Foundation problems are stressful and expensive, so homeowners lean heavily on reviews and on how established a company looks. A suspended profile hides years of reviews right when a worried homeowner is deciding who to trust with a repair costing thousands.
We help foundation repair contractors across the USA identify the cause, set up their locations correctly and file a well-supported appeal. There is no upfront payment: you pay after reinstatement.

Triggers We See in Foundation Repair
- Branch offices that aren't really branchesA profile for a "branch" that is really a sales rep's home, a shared workspace or a storage unit doesn't meet Google's rules. These are often removed and can take the main profile with them.
- Service areas that are too bigCovering a whole state from one location goes beyond Google's guidance that service areas stay within roughly two hours' drive of your base. It's a signal Google looks at when checking whether a business is genuinely local.
- Credentials and offers in the name"Free Inspection", "Lifetime Warranty" or "Structural Engineers" added to the name break the naming rules. Claiming engineering in the name when no engineer is on staff can also be treated as misleading.
- Moving base without a planMoving to a new yard or office and changing the address, phone and hours in one go can trigger a re-verification or a suspension. Our article on suspensions after an address change explains why.
- Old listings left behindListings from a previous company name, an acquired competitor or a closed office still pointing to your phone number can make Google think something is wrong.
Opening a New Branch? Set Up Extra Locations the Right Way
Each branch needs a real, staffed office before it gets a profile. That means a permanent address with your signage, people working there during the listed hours, and ideally its own local phone number. If a branch doesn't have all of that yet, cover the area from your main profile's service area and with ads instead.
Each genuine branch is verified on its own. Companies with 10 or more locations can apply for Google's bulk verification instead of verifying each one separately. Keep the business name the same across all branches, and don't add the town name to each one.

How We Restore a Foundation Repair Profile
Map the Footprint
We review every location, the service area of each, old listings and recent changes, then find which one caused the problem.

Restructure and Appeal
We reduce over-sized service areas, plan what happens to non-qualifying branches, fix the name and file the appeal.
You Pay When It's Back
Our fee is due after reinstatement. We also give you a checklist for opening future branches safely.

Proof for a Foundation Repair Appeal
- Business registration and contractor license, where your state requires one
- Liability insurance and, if you have one, a list of engineering partners you work with
- A lease or utility bill for each location being appealed
- Photos of signage at the office or yard, plus branded trucks and equipment such as piering and hydraulic jacking gear
- For a branch, photos showing staff working there and posted hours
- If Google asks for a video, film the street, your signage and the inside of the office in one take. See our options for verifying without a video if that's not possible.
Reaching a Wide Region Without Risk
- Keep each profile's service area to the places you reach regularly from that base.
- Use city service pages on your website to rank in towns further away.
- Run Google Ads for areas you cover but can't list.
- Mention warranties and engineering partners in your description and website, not your name.

FAQs for Foundation Repair Companies
Is there anything to pay before our profile is reinstated?
No. We do the investigation and the appeal first. You pay our fee only after Google reinstates the profile, and nothing for that work if it isn't.
Can each of our branch offices have a Google profile?
Yes, if each one is a real office with your signage and staff present during the listed hours. A rep's home, a storage unit or a shared desk doesn't qualify.
How far can our service area reach?
Google suggests keeping it within about two hours' drive of where the business is based. You can list up to 20 areas per profile.
Can we put "Free Inspection" in our business name?
No. Offers and slogans aren't allowed in the name. Put free inspections in your description, posts and website instead.
We work with structural engineers. Can we say so?
Yes, in your description and on your website. Don't add "Engineers" to the business name unless it's part of your registered name and you actually employ engineers.
We're moving our office. How do we avoid a suspension?
Update the address first and leave other details alone until it's settled. Have proof of the new address ready in case Google asks you to verify again.
