Most Google Business Profile verifications are reviewed within five business days. Codes sent by phone, text or email arrive almost straight away, postcards usually arrive within 14 days, and recorded verification videos can take up to five business days to review.

After any method, Google says reviews take up to five business days, and on rare occasions longer.
How to check your verification status
Open your Business Profile and look at the verification message:
- Verified or "Successful": you are done.
- Pending review: wait, and avoid editing the name, address or category.
- "Get verified" appears again: Google could not fully verify you. Try again, with another method if one is offered.
- "Review issues": select it and follow the on-screen instructions.
- "Not successful" after a video: Google lists the reasons; record a new video that adds what was missing.
What slows verification down
- Editing the name, address or category while waiting. For postcards, Google says not to edit these or request a new code while you wait.
- Details that do not match your signage, website or documents.
- A video that misses the location, the business name or proof of management.
- An automated phone menu on your business line, which stops phone codes getting through.
